If you’re looking for an easy breakfast option, this berries & granola yogurt bowl is the way to go. This is super quick to assemble and it tastes delicious.

To make this healthy greek yogurt bowl I use my own homemade granola. I find that store bought ones are way too sweet and contain a lot of added sugar. I like to make my own and this way I always know how much sugar I’m having in a meal. However, this granola has no sugar, it has honey instead, which makes it so much better. 

I like to use rolled oats, coconut oil, raisins, honey, and a mix of seeds. For this one I used sesame seeds, flax seeds, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds. If you don’t want to buy these in bulk, there is usually packages of seed mixes you can sub this for.

As for the yogurt, I like to use skyr non-fat greek yogurt as it has way lower calories (around 165 kcal for a cup) and it has way more protein, which I need to keep me feeling full for longer. I’ve tried some brands of skyr yogurt and some have a texture like cottage cheese which I like, however, find the one you like the most, everyone is different. 

I love to have my berries fresh, that is a must for me. It just changes everything. Also I use organic honey from a local producer. 

This breakfast comes in at around 380 calories per serving and it fills me up completely. It is super healthy and super delicious. You can also assemble it as a parfait, putting the berries on the bottom, yogurt in the middle and granola on top. 

The homemade granola that I make has around 105 calories for about 2-3 tbsp, and the amount in the recipe should give you enough for 12 servings. It does last for at least a month if you store it in an airtight container.  

Whenever I run out if it I always find a way to make more ASAP, because it’s so good. I use it in my yogurt, in my oatmeal bowls, and even as a snack.

Berries & Granola Greek Yogurt Bowl

This is a delicious, super healthy, easy to make breakfast! I especially love the homemade granola and the mixed berries.

  • 1 cup skyr non-fat greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup mixed berries fresh
  • 2 tbsp homemade granola
  • 1 tbsp honey

For the granola:

  • 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 tsp flax seeds
  • 2 tsp sunflower seeds
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tsp pumpkin seeds
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil melted
  • 2 tbsp honey heated & melted


  • Make the granola by mixing all the seeds, raisins and oats in a bowl.
  • Mix the melted coconut oil and the honey. Pour on top of the seed mix. Combine well.
  • Place in a sheet pan lined with baking paper and bake for about 5-10 minutes at 350ºF.
  • Be careful so it doesn't burn. Once it's done, remove from the oven and let cool completely.
  • Then break it into small clusters and store in an airtight container up to a month, it should yield 12 servings.
  • In a small bowl, mix the yogurt with a tbsp of honey. Top it with berries and this awesome granola.
